PASTEL PRINCESS

This tutorial was written in pspx but should work in other versions.
 
Tools needed
 
Tube of choice
Scrap-kit
Mask
 (sg_starred corners in supplies)
 
 
Put the mask in your psp mask folder
 
Scrap-kit Pastel Princess PTU from Lynne
 
I am using the gorgeous artwork from Barbara Jenson
So I can't supply the tube
 
Open new image white 700x600
Now we are going to make a gradient
Select 2 colours that you want for the foreground and background
I chose one from my tube and the other from the scrap-kit
Angle 45
Repeats 4
Styles Linear
Invert not ticked
Layers new raster layer
Floodfill with the gradient
Layers,load save mask from disc
Find sg_starred corners mask
Apply layers merge group
Copy and paste frame of choice as new layer
Resize to fit
I used the cardboard frame resized about 50%
Image rotate 90 right then with deform tool carefully make it fit

Click inside of frame with magic wand
Selections, modify, expand 4
Open a paper of choice in psp
Resize 60% all layers click
Copy and paste as new layer,
Selections invert, delete, select none.
Drag this layer under the frame layer
Copy and paste your tube as new layer
Place on the frame where you want it
Add drop-shadow to frame and tube
Now copy and paste elements of choice
Adding slight drop-shadow to each layer
When finished adding them
Add your name and any copyrights
Layers merge all
Save
